Want to Help Promote & In Return Be Included In Our Debut Album?

Being a new band hasn’t been something I’ve had to deal with in a long time, but all of the same issues that I remember still go into it. The hardest part? Getting your name out there and first starting out. You’re trying to get the attention of others while you’re still trying to figure out what exactly you want out of yourself. It’s a whole lot like middle or high school, which we all know to be the dumbest years of one’s life.

But to get to the point: we need your help promoting our upcoming debut release. The only way that a band can continue to grow is either through active participation from its fans or through promotion, and this way uses both. Whoa! A double threat!

But what can you do to help? There are plenty of things you can do. Here’s a little list to get you started.

• Tell your friends, family, or acquaintances about us: Show them our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ivydyemusic), Twitter page (http://www.twitter.com/ivydye), or Tumblr/site (http://www.ivydye.com) and have them either like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter or Tumblr.
• Use these pre-made posters/pictures: Below are three .jpg files that you can save to your computer and do what you please with. One is specially made for Facebook cover photos, but the rest you can do whatever you want with. Be creative! Or not. Creativity is just the bee’s knees. Everyone’s doing it.

• Tell any music blogs, sites, or promoters about us. We live in a world where everyone’s blogging or involved with music somehow and it’s nearly impossible to keep up with everything that’s going on. If you know anybody personally use them, but feel free to contact bigger names and sites. Getting exposure on these sites would greatly help out!
• Your idea not listed? Great! Originally is a wicked cool thing. Do whatever you want as long as it promotes the Ivy Dye name and album in a positive way.

And the best part is if you help out you’ll be included in the “Would like to thank” section of the album. Simply send an email to ivydyemusic@gmail.com with the subject line reading “Lyme Times Promotion” with visual proof (or if you’re really good with words MAYBE you can persuade us that way) that you’ve gone through with helping promote. Also be sure to include your name so you can get the proper credit you deserve. 

Once again, you need visual proof that you’ve helped out in some way!
